short sale "is" a term for stocks or futures?
Google Define it as "holding securities or commodities ot sold in the expectation of a fall in prices, "a short sale", "short of cotton." Does it mean that if I believe that prices or future actions I have reduced, so I'm going to sell now and buy again in the future when prices are lower.
Short selling means selling nose have something and then buy. normally do this if markets are falling or bearish. may be referred to both. short sale would mean the sale of shares to the holding actual stock. but in the future is a position that is about that position is selling without actually holding the security.
