commodities jobs in new york
Wife and I accepted a job that pays $ 4,000 USD / month in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Is this enough for a high quality life?

Me and my wife today live comfortably in a nice apartment in New York. Work in Colombo would be a great boost for my career, but if $ 4000 per month is not enough to live a life very comfortable, I do not want to subject my wife to move. The two lived in Chiang Mai, Thailand for a year with a better salary and it was a lot, but have never been in Sri Lanka. My guess is that Colombo will have a lower cost of living in Chiang Mai, but have fewer amenities. We can live with fewer amenities, but if we can not afford a nice house (in Cinnamon Gardens w / driver), then stay home. I Do not know how recent events have influenced prices commodities.

First, I live in Sri Lanka, living in India so I think I have some sense of life in these parts of the wins that you world. If amount of money in India, you can live a luxurious lifestyle.Housing be very affordable-you can rent a house if you do not want to buy may have servants do one.You Facilities household cleaning and other things that will not cost more than $ 70 to month. You can hire a driver, could quite easily have to pay $ 150 per month in no most. Its is dangerous, I'm guessing you'll be living in a city "I think it is safe enough there. You could face problems with language, though. And there is something else if you happen to be a target, people will stare at you a lot, which can be very annoying.
